Abstract

Systems, devices, and methods for filtering samples are disclosed that include a sample-driven turbine or a motor-driven impeller that continuously sweeps the surface of a filter or filtration media to prevent large particles in the material to be filtered from clogging, blocking or blinding the filter or filtration media. The systems and devices can include 'dead end' flow and/or 'cross flow' modes of operation.
