Abstract

An earring apparatus includes a post adapted to be operatively connected to an ornament. The post includes a first portion adapted to fit within a pierced ear and a second portion integrally joined to the first portion at a first transition area. The transition area inhibits the first portion from slipping out of the pierced ear during use.
