Abstract

The invention includes weaving the apparatus (1) onto gloves (2) or shoe cushion (3), which keep hands and feet warm when a user wears the gloves (2) or shoes with the cushion (3). In this instant, the compound materials (11) will be in contact with the air, and produce heat from friction between the tips of the hands or the bottom of the feet or the tips of the feet and the shoe cushion that is transmitted to the hands or the bottom and the tips of the feet. In this way, heat is produced faster and more efficiently than from only the body warmth. The inventions thus provide a superior way of heat production and transmission.

Description

Method and Apparatus for Producing Heat and Maintaining Temperature
Technical Field
The invention relates to apparatuses to maintain temperature, in particular, it relates to apparatuses to generate heat and keep hand and foot warm.
Background Art
People feel cold in their hands and feet in cold weather. The frozen bites in hands and feet cause much inconvenience in daily life. Therefore, it is necessary to wear gloves or socks to keep the hands and feet warm. However, gloves or socks are inefficient to keep warm because it takes a long time to be warm and to keep the desired temperature using the body temperature. The effectiveness of the body temperature is also very limited.
Summary of Invention
This invention solves this problem in the conventional gloves and socks and provides an apparatus of maintaining temperature which can be placed inside and at the tips of conventional gloves, socks and other types of cloths or systems to maintain the temperature.
The invention includes an apparatus for producing heat and maintaining temperature that comprises a contacting layer and a compound material covering the contacting layer, wherein the compound material comprises the granules of mixed iron powder, water, active charcoal, vermiculite, moist- absorbing resin and salt. The apparatus can be cut into different necessary shapes. The different necessary shapes include a hand-shape for use with gloves or a foot-shape for use with shoe cushion. The contacting layer is made of a non-weaving fabric. Brief Description of the Figures
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the apparatus for keeping temperature of the hands according to one embodiment of the invention;
Figure 2 is a component schematic drawing of the apparatus for keeping the temperature of the hands according to one embodiment of the invention;
Figure 3 is a sectional view of the apparatus for keeping the temperature of the hands according to one embodiment of the invention;
Figure 4 is a perspective view of the apparatus for keeping temperature of the feet according to one embodiment of the invention; and
Figure 5 is a sectional view of the apparatus for keeping temperature of the feet according to one embodiment of the invention.
Detailed Description of the Figures
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the apparatus for keeping temperature of the hands according to one embodiment of the invention. The invention includes an apparatus of maintaining temperature 1 that includes a contacting layer 12 which is covered by a compound material 11. The compound materials can be made by mixing the granules of iron powder, water, active charcoal, vermiculite, resin that absorbs moist and salt. The contacting layer 12 is made of a fabric known in the industry as "non-weaving fabric" (^iFM).
Referring to Figures 1-3, in gloves 2, for example, the invention includes weaving the apparatus 1 onto the surface of gloves 2, which keep the hands warm when a user wears the gloves 2. In this instant, the compound materials 11 will be in contact with the air, and produce heat from friction between the hands and the gloves that is transmitted directly to the hands. In this way, heat is produced faster and more efficiently than from only the body warmth.
Figure 4 and 5 are perspective and sectional views of the apparatus for keeping temperature of the feet according to one embodiment of the invention. The invention includes weaving the apparatus 1 onto the shoe cushion 3, which keep the foot warm when a user wears the shoe with the cushion. In this instant, the compound materials 11 will be in contact with the air, and produce heat from friction between the bottom of the feet or the tips of the feet and the shoe cushion that is transmitted to the bottom and the tips of the feet. In this way, heat is produced faster and more efficiently than from only the body warmth. The inventions thus provide a superior way of heat production and transmission.
In the foregoing specification, the invention has been described with reference to specific exemplary embodiments thereof. This apparatus can be used in any systems where producing or transmitting heat efficiently is desired. It will be evident that various modifications may be made thereto without departing from the broader spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims. The specification and drawings are, accordingly, to be regarded in an illustrative sense rather than a restrictive sense.
