Abstract

L'invention concerne un bioptome (1) contenant un cathéter flexible (2) pouvant être dirigé à distance. Deux poignées (6,7) couplées à une extrémité proximale du cathéter permettent d'actionner une paire de mâchoires (4,5) couplées à une extrémité distale du cathéter. Une poignée de commande (8) distincte comprend un bouton (16) rotatif. La rotation du bouton dans une direction entraîne le pliage de l'extrémité distale du cathéter dans une première direction. La rotation du bouton dans une direction opposée entraîne le pliage du cathéter dans une autre direction. Le bouton de commande peut être couplé à l'extrémité distale par des fils de guidage (42,43) qui se déplacent dans des lumens (44,45) du cathéter en réaction à la rotation du bouton. Les mâchoires ou autres membres de commande au niveau de l'extrémité cathéter distal peuvent être remplacés (80A, 80B).
