Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé servant à décorer divers objets par sublimation, notamment des plaques de métal rustiquées comprenant les étapes consistant à chauffer l'objet à une première température inférieure à la température de sublimation des encres sublimables utilisées, à placer sur la surface de l'objet à décorer une plaque avec les encres sublimables, à créer un vide entre la plaque et l'objet, pour produire l'adhérence de la plaque à la surface de l'objet, puis à poursuivre l'étape de chauffage, jusqu'à atteindre la température de sublimation des encres et permettre le transfert de la décoration sur la surface de l'objet. On utilise en particulier une plaque qui est thermoformable à la première température, pour qu'elle puisse mieux s'adapter à l'objet, avant d'atteindre la température de sublimation. Cette invention concerne également un équipement (10, 110) ayant une zone de travail (14, 114) entourée par une structure (16, 116) portant la plaque destinée à couvrir l'objet et surmontée par des lampes chauffantes (20, 120).
