Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Überführung eines Arbeitsmediums aus einem flüssigen Zustand in einen dampfförmigen Zustand. Die Vorrichtung enthält einen Strömungskanal (1) für das Arbeitsmedium und eine Wärmequelle (2) zur Abgabe von Wärmeenergie in einer vorgewählten Ausbreitungsrichtung (5) und zur Erwärmung des den Strömungskanal (1) durchströmenden Arbeitsmediums. Der Strömungskanal (1) weist wenigstens drei, in der Ausbreitungsrichtung (5) liegende und mit der Wärmeenergie wechselwirkende Abschnitte auf. Ein mit wenigstens einer Eintrittsöffnung (3) für das Arbeitsmedium versehener Vorwärmabschnitt (6) ist vorzugsweise von der Wärmequelle (2) am weitesten entfernt. Ein Überhitzungs- abschnitt (8) weist wenigstens eine Austrittsöffnung (4) für das in Dampf umgewandelte Arbeitsmedium auf, und strömungsmäßig zwischen den beiden Abschnitten (6, 8) ist wenigstens ein erster Verdampfungsabschnitt (7) vorgesehen. Erfindungsgemäß liegt der erste Verdampfungsabschnitt (7) der Wärmequelle (2) am nächsten, während der Überhitzungsabschnitt (8) vorzugsweise räumlich zwischen dem Vorwärmabschnitt (6) und dem ersten Verdampfungsabschnitt (7) angeordnet ist.
