Abstract

The invention relates to world-first, state-of-the-art technology which can be used to eliminate organic and inorganic urban solid waste materials and, in this way, fully resolve a serious ecological problem, by transforming waste using an industrial process and providing a product that is useful to society, the latter representing an added value. The importance of the invention lies in the fact that the method satisfies the social demand for a solution in relation to the final disposal of waste, thereby greatly reducing pollution in cities. In addition, the end product is highly usable by society, with access thereto being increased owing to the relatively low cost thereof compared to similar products available on the market. The machinery and technology outlined in the invention are advantageous over other waste-disposal and -treatment systems in that the latter have proven to be ineffective owing to the fact they do not fully resolve the problem and, in addition, cause contamination. As such, said systems do not present any real competition to the inventive technology. The inventive method represents a definitive solution for the final disposal of waste. More specifically, the invention comprises a process consisting in transforming all urban solid waste materials which, without being separated, are introduced into the system and transformed into a harmless innocuous product. The invention is intended to solve the problem associated with waste and, as a result, prevent the deterioration of the atmosphere. The invention is characterised in that solid waste materials are transformed into useful products. The inventive process is divided into five steps and, in turn, each step is divided into unitary operations. The product obtained, which can be used in different forms, has characteristics similar to materials that are used for street furniture and is suitable for use for: posts, fences, wayside halts, cattle troughs, roofs, coverings, walls, office dividers, etc. The cost of the product obtained from the waste-transformation process is significantly lower than that of existing products. Moreover, said product is not corrosive, reactive, explosive, toxic or flammable, nor is it an infectious biological substance. Furthermore, the product can be exposed to adverse weather conditions without releasing liquids or gases, which can be a factor in relation to the presence of cockroaches, rats and birds of prey that spread diseases in the nearby population.
