Abstract

L'invention concerne une installation de coulée continue permettant de couler une large barre métallique ou bien un maximum de deux barres métalliques étroites. Cette installation comprend au moins un contenant distributeur, une coquille supportée par un dispositif oscillant et un dispositif de guidage du brin implanté en aval. Pour pouvoir couler individuellement aussi bien une barre métallique large que deux barres métalliques étroites, l installation de coulée continue présente un espace (25) destiné à recevoir au choix une (5) ou deux coquilles (5a, 5b). Deux dispositifs oscillants (7a, 7b) et deux dispositifs de guidage de brin (8a, 8b) avec deux dispositifs d'entraînement (41) associés permettent le fonctionnement séparé et synchrone du dispositif oscillant et du dispositif de guidage de brin.
