Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle-integrated child protection system with a seat surface (102) and a seat back (104), both of which being located inside the vehicle and being joined to the vehicle structure in a fixed manner. In order to ensure a side-impact protection, at least two lateral protection pads (111, 112) are fixedly joined to the vehicle structure in a manner that enables them to be separated without being damaged.
