Abstract

The invention relates to the use of pharmaceutical compositions containing evening primrose oil (Oenothera lamarkiana L.) as the single active principle thereof, at a dose of between 400 and 800 mg, combined or mixed with solid or liquid supports, which are intended for the treatment of xerostomia in the buccopharyngeal region. More specifically, the invention relates to the use of said compositions which are to be taken between one and three times per day for the treatment of xerostomia.
