Abstract

An image object in a digital image having a multitude of pixels is determined by means of a browser program, which has a computer program for representing vector-oriented graphics, whereby: the digital image is displayed to the user; and in an iterative method, the following method steps are carried out until a predetermined interruption criterion is fulfilled. The method steps are as follows: a pixel of the image is selected using an input device; the pixel coordinates, which are assigned to the selected pixel, are stored, whereby the pixel is formed by the browser program while using the computer program for representing vector-oriented graphics by forming a polyline between the stored pixel coordinates.
