Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist die Verwendung von Polyalkylenoxid zur Vermeidung der Eindickung von mit Schutzkolloiden stabilisierten, wässrigen Polymerdispersionen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei der Herstellung von wässrigen Polymerdispersionen mittels radikalisch initiierter Polymerisation von einem oder mehreren ethylenisch ungesättigten Monomeren in wässrigem Medium, in Gegenwart von einem oder mehreren Schutzkolloiden, ein oder mehrere Polyalkylenoxide, welche im Falle von Alkylenoxid- Mischpolymerisaten die Alkylenoxid-Einheiten in statistischer Verteilung enthalten, vor oder während der Polymerisation zugegeben werden.
