Abstract

The invention is the solution for DREAM jumping and it is the device used for this method of jumping. The method is that the jumper is dressed in harness attached to a movable element, moving down the safety line. He stands on the edge of the high object and goes down, falling down for some time accordingly to the gravitation law. The falling is controlled by the shifting element motion. This device comprises a safety line (4), firmly attached by its ends to high objects and a moveable element, the cart (7). The cart makes up the protective clamp (8) in the shape similar to “Y”. Between its shoulders (8), both at the top and the bottom, crossbeams are installed (11) together with moveable wheels between them (12).

Description

METHOD OF JUMPING AND DEVICE USED FOR THIS METHOD - DREAM JUMPING
The subject of the invention is the method of /DREAM jumping/ and the device that is used for this method.
Until now parachutes have been used for DREAM jumping, also oscillatory method for jumping off a bridge is commonly known. In the oscillatory method one end of the rope is fixed to the bridge and the jumper is fastened to the other end. After the jump, the jumper falls down vertically for some time, and when the falling distance and the length of a rope are equal, the jumper performs balancing movement under the bridge, above the water surface. The aim of the invention is to work out the method of DREAM jumping, using any high buildings or objects, and the study of the construction of the device used for this method. The role of this device is a training device, enabling preparation for parachuting; however, especially important is to train jumpers for safe airship escape. In addition, the aim of the invention is to make possible recreational jumping so as to experience intensely /extreme feelings/ in conditions of controlled danger. DREAM jumping provides people with particular emotional experiences one cannot go through in other circumstances. The point of the invention is that the jumper is dressed in harness fastened to an element moving down the safety line; he stands on the edge of a high structure and goes down. For a few moments he falls down, in accordance to the gravitation law, until he reaches the 1st breaking point. However, having reached the 1st breaking point he still falls down. The falling now is controlled by the moveable element motion until he reaches the 2nd breaking point. From this point the movable element and the jumper move up and back to the 2nd breaking point slowing down., The jumper is fixed to the safety line with the movable element and the ends of the line are firmly attached to anchorage points placed on high structures, The structures might be masts, skyscrapers, high trees, smokestacks, rocks or other adapted high structures. The execution of the DREAM jumping method enables, according to the invention, the device. The device makes up a safety line and a shifting part, moving down the safety line. The movable part might be carabiner, rope grab or other shifting element, The point of the invention, considering the device, is that the cart is the movable element. Its shape is similar to "Y". From the front view the outline of the cart is of polygon's shape, elongated at the bottom. In this elongated part there is a hole to which a hook is attached. The hook is designed for fastening the harness. Between the shoulders of the protective clamp crossbeams are installed and between the crossbeams moveable wheels are installed. The cart with the jumper slides down the safety line thanks to the wheels. At a particular moment the jumper falls vertically, according to the law of gravitation. In this section the cart goes down ballasted with its own weight and does not fulfill its protecting role. Reaching the 1st breaking point, which is located in the place where safety line visibly changes its vertical position into curved, the cart changes the trajectory until it reaches the 2nd breaking point, which is located in the lowest point of the safety line. Reaching the 2nd breaking point the cart moves to the other end of the rope, moving up and in this way losing its speed. When reaching particular jump height it backs to the 2nd breaking point. The jump is completed. The jumper takes off the harness. The method and the device enable many people to realize their dreams about experiencing feelings that accompany hovering and dreams about observing world from bird's eye view. The idea used of this invention enables to evacuate people from a roof and in danger, when the escape in the traditional way is impossible. The construction of the cart guarantees much less sudden slowing of the flight. The subject of the invention is explained in the picture enclosed. The picture shows the method of jumping fig. 1- between two skyscrapers fig.2- between a skyscraper and a pole fig. 3 - illustrates the cart from the front view fig.4 - the view from the top fig.5 - the view from the side The method of DREAM jumping, according to the solution suggested by the device, is that the jumper 1 dressed in harness 2 harness is attached to the movable element 3 moving down the safety line 4, jumper stands on the edge of high structures and goes down. For a few moments the jumper falls down accordingly to the gravitation law until he reaches the 1st breaking point. 5. Reaching the 1st breaking point he still falls down; however, the falling is controlled by the movable element motion 3 until the jumper reaches the 2nd breaking point 6, from which the moveable element 3 and the jumper 1 move up and back to the 2nd breaking point 6 slowing down. The device for the DREAM jumping method makes up, according to the invention, safety line 4 attached to high structures and the cart moving down the line 7. The cart 7 is constructed of the protective clamp 8 which in its cross section has the shape similar to "Υ" . From the front view the cart 7 has the shape of polygon, elongated at the bottom. In the elongated part of the cart 7 there is a hole 9 to which a hook 10 is attached. The hook 10 is designed for fastening the harness 2 of the jumper. Between the shoulders of the protective clamp 8 , at the top and the bottom, crossbeams are installed 11, and between them movable wheels 12. The cart 7 slides with the jumper down the safety line 4 thanks to 7 the movable wheels. At this section the jumper 13 falls down, according to the gravitation law. In the 13 section the cart 7 moves down ballasted with its own weight and does not fulfill its protecting role. Having reached the 1st breaking point 5, located where the safety line 4 clearly changes its position from vertical to curved, the cart 7 changes its trajectory until it reaches the 2nd breaking point 6, and this point is located in the lowest part of the safety line 4.
