Abstract

Cette invention concerne un système de foie bio-artificiel (10) comprenant un séparateur (12) pour la séparation du plasma et du sang, un dispositif de culture pour lames hépatiques, ou un biréacteur pour détoxifier le plasma. Le bioréacteur (17) présente des entrées pour le plasma et les gaz, au moins deux treillis (31, 32) montés parallèlement l'un à l'autre près de la partie haute de la chambre formant au moins deux couches horizontales séparées. Une pluralité de lames hépatiques est disposée dans cette espace, du plasma est fourni à la chambre et s'élève pour entrer en contact avec les lames hépatiques et un gaz vient alimenter la partie haute de la chambre. Le système comprend également un réservoir (15) renfermant le plasma qui pénètre dans la chambre et la quitte. Sont également décrits des procédés de détoxication du plasma au moyen du système de foie bio-artifiiciel.
