Abstract

L'invention concerne un manteau d'animal (6) comprenant deux parties latérales qui pendent du dos de l'animal, le long des flancs du corps de l'animal, et délimitent une ouverture (1) entourant le cou de l'animal. Deux fourreaux de jambes (4) sont fixés chacun à une face intérieure du manteau (6), sur une pièce arrière d'une partie latérale respective, et reçoivent une jambe arrière respective de l'animal. Les fourreaux de jambes (4) sont confectionnés dans une bande continue d'un matériau extensible, et présentent une profondeur appréciable - représentant au moins 10 % de leur circonférence maximale. Ils fournissent ainsi un moyen sûr d'attache du manteau, sans provoquer des escarres de décubitus sur les jambes de l'animal.
