Abstract

A collapsible canopy frame (16) is provided that includes a first collapsible canopy frame component (30, 32, 90, 92, 108, 110); a second collapsible canopy frame component (29, 24); and a fastener (50) connecting the first component (30, 32, 90, 92, 108, 110) to the second component (20, 24). The first component (30, 32, 90, 92, 108, 110) and the second component (20, 24) each define at least one opening aligned with each other. The fastener (50) includes a body portion (56) that extends through the openings in the first and second components (30, 32, 90, 92, 108, 110); a head portion (52) at a first end of the fastener (50) that laterally extends from the body portion (56) to abut a first outer surface the first component (30, 32, 90, 92, 108, 110); and a locking portion (60, 62) at a second end of the fastener (50) including at least one shoulder (68) that laterally extends from the body portion to abut a second outer surface of the first component (30, 32, 90, 92, 108, 110) to connect the first component (30, 32, 90, 92, 108, 110) to the second component (20, 24).
