Diese sind jeweils an den Enden mit einem ringförmigen Verbindungsstück 35, 36 versehen, welches einerseits eine Drehachse 37 für das Zwischenrad 33 und andererseits die mit dem Planetenrad 30 verbundene Tragstange 27 umfasst. Die Laschen 34 ermöglichen eine Veränderung der Relativstellung der Planetenräder 30 relativ zum Sonnenrad 32, derart, dass sich der Abstand der Plantetenräder 30 vom Sonnenrad 32 verändert. Dementsprechend können die Planetenräder 30 auf Kreisbahnen 31 unterschiedlichen Durchmessers umlaufen (Fig. 5, Fig. 6). Die unterschiedlichen Kreisbahnen 31 entsprechen unterschiedlichen Umlaufgeschwindigkeiten der Schneidtuben 18 entsprechend der Länge der her-zustellenden Zigaretten bzw. Hierdurch ergibt sich eine radial gerichtete Verschiebung der Führungsstücke 40 unter entsprechender Bewegung der Zapfen 43 in den Führungsnuten 41.
