Abstract

La présente invention concerne un blindage conçu pour assurer une protection balistique. Ce blindage comprend un panneau frontal qui est constitué de plusieurs pièces mobiles placées côte à côte. Ces pièces mobiles sont constituées d'une matière déformable et sont retenues de manière amovible dans le panneau, de façon qu'une pièce soit détachée du panneau lorsqu'un projectile entre en contact avec cette pièce et traverse le panneau. La pièce est alors attachée au projectile afin d'augmenter la taille et la forme du projectile, ce qui permet d'arrêter plus facilement le projectile au moyen d'un autre panneau conçu pour arrêter le projectile.
