- Thin carrier elements are easy to eliminate from obtained images when the position thereof is well known beforehand. This is particularly the case when the features of claim 5 are also implemented, wherein synchronization of the movement of such a carrier and obtaining of an image is practically irrelevant because the thin carrier elements also extend in the direction of movement of the carriers. If they were to extend in a direction transversely thereof, the considerations in respect of synchronization would then be of greater importance in properly determining the position of particularly these carrier elements beforehand so as to enable elimination thereof, or measures would have to be taken to identify these carrier elements in an obtained image, which requires computing capacity and can result in delay.

These locations are the destinations 12, 13 and 14 in fig. 1.
