Abstract

L'invention concerne une soupape d'échange des gaz d'un moteur à combustion pourvue d'une tige (3) de soupape, en particulier creuse, et d'une tête de soupape, ladite tête de soupape présentant une base (1) de soupape et un cône (2) de soupape creux, relié au bord extérieur de cette dernière et dont la section décroît à mesure qu'elle s'éloigne de la base, ladite tige (3) de soupape traversant le cône (2) de soupape creux, laquelle tige est, d'un côté, solidement reliée à la base (1) de soupape et, de l'autre, reliée à l'extrémité à section décroissante du cône (2) de soupape, et l'extrémité de la tige (3) de soupape, reliée à la base (1) de soupape, s'étendant au-delà du plan de liaison entre le cône (2) de soupape et la base (1) de soupape. L'objectif de cette invention est d'améliorer ladite soupape d'échange des gaz du point de vue de sa stabilité et de son endurance. A cet effet, cette soupape d'échange des gaz se caractérise en ce que la base (1) de soupape présente au moins une rainure annulaire (5 ; 5', 11) radialement adjacente, pourvue d'une surface de section transversale convexe vers l'extérieur, dans la zone annulaire située entre sa liaison avec la tige (3) de soupape, d'une part, et avec le cône (2) de soupape, d'autre part.
