Abstract

Toilets (1) comprise two different means which are called as closet (2) and urinal (3). Both consist of an opening (4), a bowl (5) and a drain trap (6) for the connection with the sewage system.

Description

TOILET SMELL EXTRACTING MECHANISM
This invention relates to a smell extraction mechanism for toilets providing the extraction of the smell directly prior to its dissemination through the toilet body in toilets particularly closets and urinals.
Closets and urinals are connected to the infrastructure of the sewage system through a drain trap. The said trap provides the extraction of the wastes after the toilet is used. However, it does not avoid the dissemination of the smell into the toilet body until this extraction process.
The smell in the toilet body is removed through the inlet which absorbs the air in the ceiling. This means the respiration of the smell. It is known that several means have been developed to remove the smell in toilets. In state of the art, Unites States Patent US5305473 defines a drain through which the air is removed.
Similarly in United States Patent, which is one of the patents related to the smell extraction, toilet and smell extraction system are placed at a suitable position. Another conventional application of the art is disclosed in United States Patent US 5727263. In this patent, a mechanism which is active in smell extracting as long as the user is in the toilet is defined.
The object of this invention is to provide the extraction of the smell prior to its respiration and dissemination through the toilet body in toilets particularly closets and urinals. The smell extraction mechanism for toilets realized in order to attain above mentioned objects of the present invention has been illustrated in the attached drawings, wherein;
Figure 1 is a cross sectional view of a closet. Figure 2 is a cross sectional view of a urinal. Figure 3 is a cross sectional view of an alternative embodiment of this invention.
The components shown in the figures have been enumerated as below;
Toilet Closet Urinal Opening Bowl Drain Trap Air absorption opening Air absorption pipe Drain pipe 10. Fan
There are two different means in toilets (1) including closet (2) and urinal (3). Both comprises an opening (4), a bowl (5) and a drain trap (6) providing the connection with the sewage system.
Inside the bowls (5) of the closets (2) and the urinals (3) in toilets, there is an air absorption opening (7) comprising a hole or preferably a crack in its rear part. The said air absorption opening (7) opens to the air absorption pipe (8) on the drain pipe (9) between the sanitary installations in buildings. In this case, smell in the closet (2) and urinal (3) is removed from the closet (2) and/or urinal (3) and toilet through the air absorption opening (7) and the air absorption pipe (8). There is a device absorbing the air or more preferably a fan (10) on the air absorption pipe (8).
This invention provides the extraction of the smell from the toilet (1) and an environment having a pleasant smell. Therefore, the inlets and the pipes absorbing the air on the ceiling are not needed and accordingly the cost is reduced.
