Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de neutralisation thermochimique de substances hautement toxiques. Selon l'invention, le procédé de neutralisation thermochimique se distingue en ce que la substance à neutraliser est soumise à un processus à plusieurs stades de traitement dans un flux de gaz haute vitesse et haute température par décomposition thermochimique, d'oxydation complémentaire et d'introduction d'agents chimiques assurant la réalisation complète de réactions chimiques, avec formation de substances finales non toxiques. A un stade de processus de traitement au moins le flux de gaz comportant la substance à neutraliser est accéléré jusqu'à une vitesse supersonique puis transféré, par des chocs de compression, dans le domaine d'écoulement subsonique.
