Abstract

A method of detecting and/or diagnosing a cancerous condition or predisposition to a cancerous condition in a patient is disclosed, the method comprising the step of detecting, in a sample taken from the patient, the presence of a marker selected from the group consisting of (i) SPAG1; (ii) MNK; (iii) Periostin; (iv) AGR2; or (v) UHRF1, wherein said marker is a marker polypeptide, nucleic acid or anti-marker antibody, or a fragment of said marker polypeptide, nucleic acid or anti-marker antibody.
