In Figur 1 ist ein Teil einer erfindungsgemäßen Verpackungsmaschine, die Tiefziehstation, dargestellt. Die Folie F1 wird von einer Rolle V1 abgerollt und zum Beispiel mit einem Kettenantrieb taktweise zur Tiefziehstation T transportiert, wie durch den Pfeil dargestellt. Dieser Computer steuert die automatische Einstellung beispielweise der Längsschneidevorrichtung, so dass diese an die Form der hergestellten Verpackungsmulde und an das Format angepasst sind. Die Verpackungsfolie wird taktweise abgerollt und die Verpackungsmülden werden in die Verpackungsfolie eingeformt. Das Werkzeug 19 ist so gestaltet, dass mehrere mindestens jedoch zwei Verpackungsmulden in der Papierebene hintereinander hergestellt werden. Die Verpackungsmulden werden aus der Tiefziehstation heraus transportiert und dann gegebenenfalls mit einem Verpackungsgut gefüllt und mit einer Deckelfolie versiegelt. Die so hergestellten Verpackungen werden anschließend durch die in den Figuren 2 bis 4 dargestellten Längsschneider in Laufrichtung der Folie auseinander geschnitten. Mit einem Querschneider (nicht dargestellt) werden die Verpackungsmulden quer zur Transportrichtung der Folie getrennt. Es ist jedoch auch denkbar, dass die erfindungsgemäßen Längsschneider lediglich in einem sogenannten Trayformer zum Einsatz kommen. Bei dieser Ausführungsform werden die hergestellten Verpackungsmulden 21 nach der Tiefziehstation nicht gefüllt, sondern mit erfindungsgemäßen Längsschneidern und einem Querschneider vereinzelt und können dann beispielsweise in einem sogenannten Traysealer befüllt und gesiegelt werden.FIG. 1 shows part of a packaging machine according to the invention, the deep-drawing station. Die Gegenwalzen 3 wirken mit Messern 2 zusammen, die jeweils angetrieben und die, wie durch den Doppelpfeil 17 dargestellt, vertikal verschiebbar angeordnet sind. Die Welle bzw. Achse 11 ist seitlich durch die Lagerungen 10 gelagert. In diesen Lagerungen ist eine Kulisse 12, in dem vorliegenden Fall ein Langloch angeordnet, die die Welle oder Achse 11 bei ihrer horizontalen Bewegung führt. Die horizontale Bewegung der Welle/Achse 11 wird durch die Zylinder 4 bewirkt. Der Fachmann erkennt, dass sich die Bewegung Welle/Achse 11 nicht zwischen dem oberen und unteren Endpunkt der Kulisse erstrecken muss, sondern dass insbesondere die Bewegung nach unten nur soweit wie durch die Tiefe der Verpackungsmulde vorgegeben, erfolgen muss. Figur 4 zeigt eine weitere Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen Längsschneiders, der im Wesentlichen dem Längsschneider gemäß Figur 3 entspricht, wobei bei dem vorliegenden Fall die Bewegung der Achse Welle 11 nicht durch eine Kulisse geführt wird, sondern die Welle 11 mit einer Rolle 14 verbunden ist, die auf einer Rolle 13, die mit einer Welle 16 verbunden ist, abrollt. Die Bewegung der Rolle 13 ist durch den in ihr angeordneten Doppelpfeil dargestellt. Ein Riemen 15 zieht die Rolle 14 gegen die Rolle 13.
