Abstract

La présente invention concerne un flux à base d'eau destiné à la galvanisation par immersion à chaud de l'acier. Les articles en acier sont ainsi soumis à un chauffage rapide, en particulier lorsqu'une composition de bain de galvanisation avec un pouvoir mouillant élevé par rapport à l'acier est utilisée. Un des objectifs de la présente invention vise à réduire le problème de contrainte thermique en utilisant des flux qui, lors de l'immersion, réduisent le coefficient de transfert de chaleur entre l'acier et le zinc en fusion. Le flux de l'invention comprend 200 à 600 g/l de ZnCl2 et de NH4Cl, le rapport molaire du NH4Cl au ZnCl2 étant compris entre 1,7 et 3,3. Le flux de l'invention se caractérise par le fait qu'il comprend également 8 à 80 g/l d'AlCl3.
