Abstract

L'invention concerne la production d'hydrogène destiné à générer de l'énergie. L'invention concerne également des procédés, des dispositifs et des ensembles impliquant la production d'hydrogène. Lesdits procédés consistent à faire réagir des composés contenant de l'oxygène, tels que des composés d'organothiol, avec un substrat métallique réactif afin de produire un gaz hydrogène et d'utiliser ce gaz pour générer de l'énergie. L'invention concerne enfin la régénération du composé utilisé sous une forme appropriée riche en hydrogène par réaction de ce composé avec de l'hydrogène. Le stockage et la production d'hydrogène, tels que décrits dans l'invention, permettent de produire de l'hydrogène afin de générer de l'énergie dans des dispositifs consommant de l'hydrogène, tels que des moteurs et des piles à combustible, par exemple, installés dans des véhicules à hydrogène.
