Abstract
Application of extract alone, and all it's active substances (individualy), their microbiological and chemical modifiers and derivates, obtained from all varieties of Stevia Rebaudiana cultivated from seed and nursery, in form that is suitable for oral usage leads to eliminating or reducing cellulite.
Description
ORAL APPLICATION OF EXTRACT OF STEVIA REBAUDIANA OR ITS ACTIVE SUBSTANCES FOR THE ELIMINATION OF CELLULITE
Field of technique to which the invention is refered to : cosmetics
Specific problem for which solution protection is required: Cellulite elimination The state of technique: Stevia rebaudiana is perennial shrub plant, growing wild at highlands of Paraguay, Brasill and Argentina. Stevia is a member of Compositacae family. It is also called «honney leaf» or «sweet herb». Growing wild, it grows to 60 cm height, while under cultivation it achives 90 cm. The herb has a lot of branches that rises above the ground with pairs of meaty leaves (one herb can give 500g of fresh leaf). The root system consists of thin little roots, which are spreading right below ground surface, while just a few thicker roots reaches deeper in the ground. Leaf is collected by the begining of flowering when the leaf mass is the biggest and the sweetest. The most suitable temperature for stevia before harvesting is 15-38°C (night-day). Also, longer sunny days are suitable for accumulation of sweet substances in leaf. Under cultivation, the stevioside content in dry leaf is in range 6-12%. This herb contain over a hundred different natural substances of which the most significant are glycosides from which the highest sweetenes of leaf comes. There are eight sweet glycosides of stevia known: stevioside, rebaudioside A, rebaudioside B, rebaudioside C (dulcoside B), rebaudioside D, rebaudioside E, dulcoside A and steviolbioside. The leaf of this herb is used for production of extract. Extraction of stevia leaf is performed by water. From the obtained extract, the color and bitter substance are removed in the refining proces. Refined extract is steamed to dry and white cristall mass, 300 times sweeter then sugar is obtained. Quality and quantity determination of stevioside and rebaudioside A is performed by highpressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) at 210 nm. Stevia is mainly used as a sweetener. There is very wide application of stevia in food industry of Japan. The most commonly in products marked as a healthy food such as: fruit and vegetable products, sauces, sea fruit, soft drinks, lowenergy drinks and products of dairy industry (cream, yogurt, fruit yogurt).
Research of group of scientists in Copenhageen at the endocrinology department, on the hypoglicemichal effect of stevia extract, shows that it directly affects to betta cells of pancreas which causes insulin press out. These results justifies application of this herb for centuries in
treatment of diabetes mellitus-a type2. It is confirmed that water extract of stevia leaf lowers the level of glucose in blood for 35%. Stevia rebaudiana folii extractum siccum standardisatum prevents growth of bacteria Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus plantarum, and it totally stops growth of Lactobacillus Casei and prevents formation of cavity which enables its application in products for mouth cavity care. Dosed quantities of stevia extract and steviosides lowers blood pressure, reduces the number of hearth beets and acts as a diuretic. It is also used as supplement to the mixtures for loosing body weight for its lowcallory values.
During research of stevia extract (Stevia rebaudiana folii extractum siccum standardisatum), it is concluded that if it is consumed oraly, in form of pills or capsules or solution or powder; alone or in combination with extracts of other herbal species and vitamins, eliminates cellulite equaly at all points of its localisation.
Cellulite appearance is usually localized at upper and back parts of thighs, but it can also appear on the other parts of body such as: knees, stomach, behind, lower part of back, inner and back part of brachium, anklebone, upper part of back below shoulder blade. It can appear in any life age, independently of body weight, even at very skinny people. It comese in four types classified by Nurnberger-Muller scalle: > type 3 - Wrinkled skin (»orange peek) and swellings appears when person lies or sits type 2 - Wrinkled skin (»orange peel«) appears spontaneously when person stands, but not in laying position type 1 - No wrinkled skin (»orange peel«) when person stands or lies, but test by squeezing with thumb and index finger shows loose skin type 0 - No wrinkled skin (»orange peek) when person stands or lies, test by squeezing with thumb and index finger shows wrinkles or creases.
Procedure according to invention enables partial or total (depending on type) cellulite elimination, by using dosed quantity of stevia extract in form of capsule in 30 days period, for the first time till now, without physical acitivity .
During terapy it must be taken 1500ml to 2000ml of water. Using this invention, in relatively short time, in very elegant and simple way, cellulite type 3 and type 2 is totaly eliminated, and with cellulite type 1 and type 0 stevia extract returnes lost tonicity and livelines of the skin. Besides, by this invention, stevia extract can be used in form of pills in appropriate dose in period of 30 days to acheive the same effect in cellulite elimination as in usage in form of capsules. Pills are suitable pharmaceutical form of product for persons with problems when taking capsules.
According to this invention, stevia extract when applied in form of undivided powder, more times during day, and in period of 30 days, dissolved in water immediately before usage, accheives the same effect as applied in form of two above mentioned pharmaceutical forms.
Application of stevia extract in form of solution, more times during day, with or without vitamin and aromatic supplement, according to this invention, achieves the same result in cellulite elimination as solid forms of application of this extract.
Cellulite is subcutaneous change that appears mostly at woman. Due to fast life tempo and serious obligations which modern woman carries everyday in familly and society, time left for her to keep in shape and good looking is mainly not enough. By using this invention, modern woman is enabled to wipe out cellulite on a very simple way, to restore and to keep tonicity and fresheness of the skin of the whole body which contributes her confidence and serenity, saves her time and familly budget.

Stevia extract can be used in form of capsule and/or pill two times during day with necessary consumption of mineral still water and lower consumption of kitchen salt. Mineral water rich with iodium is recomended as it effects at total combustion of food carried in organism.

Efficiency of stevia extract to cellulite elimination is controlled on following prameters basis:
•A thighs volume, hips volume, waist volume, volume of brachium (cm) A body weight (kg) and A test by squeezing with thumg and index finger (descriptive and classification by type of cellulite according to Nurnberger-Muller scale) Control of efficiency of stevia extract to the reduction of cellulite is performed every seven days.
Beverages could be made just before consumption or by making solution which will be consumed during longer time period. Stevia extract in form of powder ought to be taken 6 to 8 times during the day, everyday, without break, during one month period.
