Abstract

A balllistic resistant panel made of three distinct layers each of which consisting of layered sheets. One layer consists of sheets made of woven para aramid (22). The layer below consists of sheets each consisting of woven para aramid sheets (24) pretreated by hot press. The third layer in succession consists of a plurality of layered sheets each made of uni-directional para aramid fibers (26).
