A cet effet, l'invention a trait à un procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes : l'alimentation du pain de récupération (A) dans un passage de séchage primaire (1) incorporant des aubes rotatives de broyage (2b) et une buse d'injection d'air chaud (3a) présentant un orifice d'injection tourné vers la direction d'alimentation et le broyage et la pulvérisation du pain de récupération (A) par les surfaces d'extrémité des aubes de broyage rotatives (2b) et la face du passage de séchage primaire (1), et l'évaporation et l'élimination de l'humidité dans le pain de récupération (A) par le passage de séchage primaire (1) et de l'air chaud en provenance de la buse d'injection (3a). En outre, le pain de récupération (A) est alimenté dans un passage de séchage secondaire (4) à travers un corps de type tamis (7a) tout en assurant un broyage plus fin du pain à l'aide d'une lame rotative (20) et d'un séchage supplémentaire dans le passage de séchage secondaire (4).
