Abstract

A fracture pin (10) used to treat fractures, especially fractures of the head of the humerus, of a bone comprising several segments. Said fracture pin comprises a rod-shaped, especially tubular support body (11) which extends in a substantially linear manner. The pin is embodied as a short pin which extends on one single bone segment when inserted into the bone. A kit for forming at least one such fracture pin (10) comprises at least one short pin support body (11) and at least one fixing screw forming a fixing element.
