Abstract

La présente invention concerne un projectile de munition pour arme à feu, en particulier une arme de poing, ce projectile comportant une pointe et un culot et étant agencé pour avoir un freinage suffisant dans l'air afin d'être arrêté par un gilet pare balles, ce projectile ayant une trajectoire précise et fiable. Le projectile (10) de l'invention comporte une pointe (11) approximativement tronconique et un culot (12) cylindrique. La pointe (11) est pourvue d'un méplat central (13) plus ou moins important, de forme sensiblement circulaire, dont le diamètre est compris entre 10 et 50 % du diamètre du projectile à la base de la pointe (11) ou du culot (12). Sur sa face latérale, la pointe (11) tronconique présente cinq creusures (14), disposées symétriquement entre-elles par rapport à des plans axiaux, et obtenues soit par emboutissage, soit par fraisage, soit par tout autre procédé d'usinage approprié.
