Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un outillage de brasage à gaz (1) comportant un boîtier principal (3) formant manche (4) et un réservoir de gaz combustible (5) et définissant un axe principal central (2). Un organe de corps (10) terminé par une pointe d'outillage de brasage (11) forme une chambre de combustion (18) au sein duquel se trouve un élément de combustion catalytique (19) destiné à transformer le mélange gaz combustible/mélange d'air en chaleur pour le réchauffement de la pointe d'outillage de brasage (11). L'organe de corps (10) est rendu solidaire du boîtier principal (3) par un organe de retenue (12), un boîtier secondaire (28) et un écrou presse-étoupe (14) qui rend l'organe de retenue (12) solidaire d'un ensemble en aval de capot terminal (15) du boîtier principal (3). Du gaz combustible en provenance du réservoir est alimenté à la chambre de combustion (18) grâce à un système d'alimentation de gaz combustible (39) qui fournit du gaz combustible à une soupape sensible à la température (38) dans laquelle le flux de gaz combustible est modulé pour le maintient de la température de la pointe d'outillage de brasage (11) sensiblement constante dans une plage de température prédéterminée. La soupape sensible à la température (38) comporte un disque bimétallique circulaire (59) qui coopère avec un organe de soupape (58) et un siège de soupape (57) pour la modulation de l'alimentation de gaz combustible en fonction de la température de la pointe d'outillage de brasage (11). La soupape sensible à la température (38) et un mélangeur Venturi (41) sont en alignement axial l'un par rapport à l'autre de sorte que l'outillage de brasage (1) puisse se présenter sous une forme ultramince et compacte.
