Abstract

On utilise des matériaux absorbant l'énergie électromagnétique pour le traitement de filtres à air, notamment des filtres utilisés conjointement avec des matériels électroniques, afin d'éliminer la transmission d'interférences électromagnétiques au travers desdits matériels. L'invention concerne des procédés et des matériaux permettant d'appliquer des matériaux absorbant les interférences électromagnétiques sur des filtres à air et assurant un blindage efficace et économique contre lesdites interférences. Dans un mode de réalisation, on prépare une solution absorbante au moyen d'un matériau absorbant et d'un agent de liaison. Une épaisse couche de solution absorbante est appliquée sur un substrat de filtre, par immersion ou par vaporisation par exemple. On fait disparaître ultérieurement le matériau absorbant excédentaire de manière à ce que l'air traverse le filtre sensiblement sans entraves. Le filtre à air absorbant ainsi obtenu peut être éventuellement traité avec un agent ignifugeant conformément a une norme de sécurité prédéterminée.
