Abstract

Cette invention concerne un dispositif de balayage optique permettant de balayer un support d'enregistrement optique (1) qui comprend une couche d'informations. Un élément biréfringent (20) est disposé le long d'un axe optique du dispositif entre la première et la seconde lentille d'un objectif composite (10). Cet élément biréfringent présente une première caractéristique génératrice d'aberrations dans un premier mode de polarisation, et une seconde caractéristique différente génératrice d'aberrations dans un second mode de polarisation. La surface de l'élément biréfringent présente un premier profil selon un premier plan qui est parallèle à l'axe optique, et un second profil différent selon un second plan qui est parallèle à l'axe optique et perpendiculaire au premier plan, ce qui procure la puissance d'une lentille anamorphique dans le mode de polarisation extraordinaire.
