As illustrated in the figures, it is envisaged that the rotating vanes are partially immersed in cold water contained in a container (8). Preferably, the blades are submerged between a third and half of its diameter.

In contact with the cold water tank, the temperature of the rotating condenser vanes (4) drops to between zero and ten degrees Celsius. Such cooling is achieved by virtue of the temperature of the water contained inthe tank (8) is at a temperature between 0 ° and 10 ° C.

In the second stage, the rotating vanes (4) immersed in the cold water rotate and the portion that was immersed in the cold water container emerges.

Because the blades are wet with cold water, mechanical sweeping means (6 A) of refrigerant are provided to remove the layer of water that wets the surface of the cooled blades (4). Said coolant scanning means (6 A) consists of a plurality of coolant sweeping bands that extend horizontally from about the center to the end of the blades (4). These bands are in close contact with the surface of each blade that emerges from the cold water container.

Preferably a band is arranged between each disc, so that the lateral edges of each band are pressed against the faces of the adjacent blades. But as will be apparent to a person skilled in the art it is possible to arrange a sweeping band of coolant adjacent to each rotary vane. In addition, a mechanical tensioning means, such as a spring, can optionally be arranged so that the sweeping band exerts some pressure on the surface of the rotating blade.

The purpose of sweeping coolant strips is to remove cold water that wets the surface of the cooled rotary vane. The sweeping bands in close contact with the surface of each blade substantially remove the water that wets the surface of the blades. In addition, said coolant sweeping bands are intended to provide a protective cover for the water contained in the container. Said cover is intended to prevent the water contained in the container from evaporating on contact with the air flow.

The use of rubber or plastic is preferred for the manufacture of the sweeping bands. These materials have the flexibility to operate without fracturing. Rubber sweeping bands can be similar to car windshield wiper hosts.

c) Condensación.c) Condensation.

Una vez que el agua de enfriamiento que moja los alabes rotatorios es retirada por medio de ias bandas de barrido, los alabes rotatorios (4) con su superficie substancialmente seca, se pone en contacto con la corriente de aire ambiental en un flujo turbulento que proviene de los medios de convección forzadaOnce the cooling water that wets the rotary blades is removed by means of the sweeping strips, the rotary blades (4) with their substantially dry surface are brought into contact with the ambient air stream in a turbulent flow that comes of forced convection means

(10) a través del canal (3).(10) through the channel (3).

By virtue of the temperature gradient between the ambient air stream and the surface of the rotating blades, the air vapor gives its latent heat to the rotating blades and condenses on the surface of the blades. In this way drops of water appear on each of the faces of the blades of the set of rotary blades.

With the condensed water on its surface, the rotating blades are reintroduced into the cold water container (8), where they are cooled again.

As can be seen in the figures, approximately half of the course of the rotary blades (4) is used for the condensation of water vapor, while the other half is used to cool said blades.

Alternatively, a condensate sweep means (6 B) can be arranged, said sweep means also consists of a condensate sweep band of similar characteristics to the refrigerant sweep band.

The purpose of the condensate sweeping band is to remove the drops of condensed water on the surface of the wings (4).

Even if no condensate sweeping bands (6 B) are used, it is preferred to arrange a band in the defined space between the blades (4). This band has to prevent the object to 're environmental contact with the surface of the container water (8) and evaporate.

d) recuperación de agua condensada.d) recovery of condensed water.

The condensed water on the surface of the blades (4) enters the container (8) either by immersion of the rotary vane in said container or optionally by draining from the condensate sweeping band (6 B). The container (8) comprises cooling means (9) to keep the water at a temperature between 0 ° and 10 ° C.

The condensed water is mixed with the water contained in the container (8) and accumulates in said tank to the level determined by a landfill. Once the water reaches the level of the landfill, it is sent to the purification stage.

Se prefiere filtración (12) y tratamiento con lámparas germicidas (13).For the purification stage, any means known in the art can be used. Filtration (12) and treatment with germicidal lamps (13) are preferred.

Optionally, a pump can be arranged in the discharge of water from the container (8). This pump is intended to provide the necessary pressure. so that water can circulate through the purification stage.

Once the water has been potabilized, it is stored in a drinking water tank (15) that has a dispenser (19) such as a tap. Said drinking water tank also has cooling means (16) which are intended to cool the drinking water for consumption.

In one embodiment of the invention, a dehumidifying water purification apparatus further comprises a refrigeration chamber (18) for cooling food and beverages.

The cooling means of the container (8), the tank (15) and optionally the chamber (18) are part of a cooling system (17). Said system may consist of any gas compression refrigeration cycle known in the art, for example those using mixtures of halogenated hydrocarbon gases or ammonia.

The device illustrated in the figures shows a polyfunctional apparatus, comprising. a) supplies of potable ice water; b) cooling chamber; c) dry air supply, for conditioning.
