Abstract

The invention relates to a device (1) for the compression of materials. Said device comprises a housing (2, 102), a compression chamber (4), in which a compressor (5) is arranged and an outlet (13, 113, 243) for dispensing compressed material, whereby a flap (14, 114, 214) is mounted at the outlet such as to rotate about a flap axis (16, 116, 216). The device (1) is characterized in that said flap (14, 114, 214) is pre-tensioned in the closed direction by means of at least one tensioning element (17, 217).
