L'inconvénient avec ce type de distributeur réside dans le fait que l'orifice de distribution n'existe initialement pas, et que c'est par conséquent à l'utilisateur de créer ou de réaliser cet orifice de distribution soit en séparant les deux feuilles soit en en arrachant une partie. L'orifice de distribution ainsi créé n'est d'une part pas très facile à réaliser, et présente d'autre part des formes souvent très aléatoires qui rendent la distribution plutôt incommode.
