Abstract

The invention relates to an adjustable funnel which is used to control the flow of clay entering moulds used to produce ceramic parts. The inventive funnel comprises a body (2) which is equipped with a central cavity (3), the inner lateral walls thereof comprising built-in brakes (5) which are disposed in upper (4) and lower (4') grooves. According to the invention, the aforementioned brakes (5) can be adjusted independently using adjustable elements (6 and 6') which act on the upper (7) and lower (7') flat bars thereof. The other end of said flat bars is articulated to a part (9) which is in turn connected to another part (11) which rubs against the clay.

De forma más concreta, el embudo regulable para controlar el caudal de arcilla que entra en los moldes de fabricación de piezas cerámicas objeto de la invención, está constituido a partir del encaje de unos frenos en las paredes y en unas cajeras superiores e inferiores del cuerpo del embudo, de tal forma que dichos frenos quedan acoplados a las paredes del hueco del cuerpo del embudo y a sus cajeras superiores e inferiores, permitiendo de esta forma que esas paredes sean regulables por zonas debido al movimiento de los frenos, y asi controlar el caudal de arcilla donde sea necesario, y en el mismo sentido del flujo de la arcilla, dato éste muy importante, ya que permite que la zona de fricción entre el freno y la arcilla sea mucho mayor, concretamente toda la altura del embudo, con su consiguiente incremento en la acción de frenado y a su vez impiden que las piezas cerámicas salgan marcadas o rayadas a la salida del molde al no frenar mediante una acción perpendicular al caudal de arcilla ejercida sobre determinados puntos o a lo largo de una linea, si no ofrecer una superficie de frenado paralela a la dirección del caudal.The adjustable funnel to control the flow of clay that enters the molds for the manufacture of ceramic pieces, which the invention proposes, is configured in itself as an obvious novelty within its specific field of application, by gathering in its context a plurality of features that adequately improve the applications currently used for the realization of different ceramic pieces.
