Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Bedienen eines Regals vorzugsweise in einer Kommissionieranlage mit Hilfe eines an der Frontseite des Regals verfahrbaren Regalbediengeräts mit einem höhenverstellbaren linear beweglichen Lastaufnahmemittel zur Aus- und Einlagerung von Stückgütern gegebenenfalls in Behältern, auf Tabletts, Paletten oder dergleichen. Ein vorgenanntes Verfahren und Regalbediengerät gehören zum allgemein bekannten Stand der Technik und sind beispielsweise aus DE-Gbm 201 12 328.2 bekannt. Das speziell aus dem vorgenannten Gebrauchsmuster bekannte Regalbediengerät setzt sich hierbei aus einzelnen Etagenbediengeraten zusammen, wobei für jede Etage des Regals zumindest ein eigenes Etagenbediengerät vorgesehen ist. Das Etagenbediengerät besitzt ein Lastaufnahmemittel für ein oder mehrere Behälter und kann aus dem Regal ausgelagerte Behälter an zumindest einem Längsende des Regals in der entsprechenden Regalebene in einem stationären Regal- Speicher Zwischenlagern, oder umgekehrt in das Regal einlagern. Zwischengelagerte Behälter werden über einen stationären, dem Regalspeicher zugeordneten Behälterlift abgeführt bzw. über diesen Behälterlift in das Regal eingebracht. Von Vorteil ist, daß das einzelne Etagenbediengerät aufgrund des vorhandenen stationären Regalspeichers schnell wieder für einen neuen oder einen kombinierten Kommissioniervorgang zur Verfügung steht. Von Nachteil ist, daß das Regalbediengerät sich aus mehreren Etagenbediengeraten vergleichsweise aufwendig zusammensetzt und die einzelnen Etagenbediengeräte für eine Wiederverfügbarkeit den stationären Regalspeicher anfahren müssen.An aforementioned method and storage and retrieval unit belong to the generally known prior art and are known, for example, from DE-Gbm 201 12 328.2.
