Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé d'utilisation d'une sonde à ultrasons (15) en association avec un agent pharmacologique pour potentialiser l'effet de traitement d'une occlusion par la sonde à ultrasons (15) et supprimer efficacement l'occlusion (16). L'agent pharmacologique est libéré par un cathéter (36) pour traiter l'occlusion et augmenter l'effet des vibrations ultrasonores transversales de la sonde à ultrasons (15), éliminant ainsi efficacement l'occlusion (16). L'agent pharmacologique poursuit sa progression avale vers le site de l'occlusion (16) et agit en association avec la sonde à ultrasons (15) pour ramener l'occlusion (16) à une taille qui permet de l'éliminer facilement du corps par voie naturelle. On empêche ainsi l'occlusion (16) de se reformer et on prévient d'autres risques éventuels pour la santé.
