Disclosed is an internal combustion engine comprising an exhaust system (102) with at least one exhaust tract (105) which is connected to the internal combustion engine (101) via an exhaust manifold (103). At least one exhaust gas aftertreatment device (104) is disposed downstream of the exhaust manifold (103). The exhaust gas aftertreatment device (104) and/or the exhaust tract (105) located upstream of the exhaust gas aftertreatment device (104) is/are embodied at least in part with a double wall.
