Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein verbessertes Verfahren zur anodischen Alkoxylierung einer organischen Verbindung mit einem Alkohol mit 1 bis 4 C-Atomen, insbesondere Methanol, in einem Reaktor mit einer Membranelektrodeneinheit (MEA). Erfindungsgemäss wird ein Reaktor mit einer MEA verwendet, wobei die MEA eine Kationenaustauschermembran oder eine mikroporöse Polypropylenmembran umfasst und eine oder beide Elektrodenschichten erzeugt wurden unter Verwendung einer Russ, Graphit oder Schwermetall-dotierten Russ und ein sulfoniertes polyfluoriertes Polymer oder Copolymer in einem flüssigen Suspensionsmedium enthaltenden Suspension.
