Abstract

The invention relates to an item of luggage comprising a zipper and at least one semi-hard or hard plastic shell (1). The zipper (2, 3) is designed so that it at least partially encircles the item of luggage. The material of the item of luggage is made of a watertight material such as plastic, woven fabric coated with plastic or of a similar material. The zipper is a watertight zipper, and the zipper is sewn with its strips (3) to the edges of the halves of the item of luggage, and the seam (5) is covered with a watertight material (4).
