Abstract

A traditional floor cleaning implement (13) comprising a plurality of pieces which, when assembled, form the traditional floor cleaning implement (13) and a container (15) for holding the implement. In one embodiment, the kit includes a mop head (17), a plurality of separate handle sections (27, 29, 31) to be joined together to form a mop handle (19), the mop handle (19) being adapted to be joined to the mop head (17), and a container (15) for holding the mop head (17) and the separate handle sections (27, 29, 31). In another embodiment, the kit includes a broom head (125), a plurality of separate handle sections (27, 29, 31) adapted to be joined together to form a broom handle (19), and a container (15) for holding the broom head (125) and the separate broom handle sections (27, 29, 31).
