Abstract

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé destinés à un serveur mandataire à durée limitée. Le système est notamment utilisé dans des réseaux vidéo de locaux et comprend (1) une unité de porte installée dans un tableau de distribution externe d'un câble de connexion d'un abonné et capable d'activer ou de désactiver le passage d'un canal vidéo vers le récepteur vidéo selon une commande, (2) des serveur mandataire-carte à puce jetables emballés dans un emballage jetable et renfermant un circuit intégré comprenant des informations du serveur mandataire pré-chargées, un compteur de temps se mettant en marche lors de la première utilisation et révoquant de manière irréversible les informations du serveur mandataire après une durée prédéterminée et une capacité de communication et (3) une unité d'abonné capable de lire les informations du serveur mandataire à partir de la carte, d'identifier la validité et d'alimenter pendant la validation de l'énergie électrique à l'unité de porte, ainsi que de commander ladite unité aux fins de transfert de canaux vidéo.
