Abstract

L'invention concerne une nouvelle composition de fluide hydraulique anhydre contenant : (a) 65 à 100 % en poids, sur la base du poids total de la composition de fluide hydraulique anhydre, d'un composé alcoxylé de formule suivante (I), dans laquelle R et R5 désignent chacun hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle présentant 1 à 4 atomes de carbone ; R1, R2, R3 et R4 désignent chacun hydrogène, méthyle, éthyle ou un groupe OR6 ou CH2-O-R6 ; R6 désigne hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle présentant 1 à 4 atomes de carbone et n est un nombre entier de 1 à 4, (b) 1 à 35 % en poids, sur la base du poids total de la composition de fluide hydraulique anhydre, d'un épaississant et éventuellement (c) 0 à 10 % en poids, sur la base du poids total de la composition de fluide hydraulique anhydre, d'au moins un additif sélectionné dans le groupe constitué par des additifs lubrifiants, des inhibiteurs de corrosion, des passivants pour métaux, des antioxydants, des additifs antimousse, des teintures, des parfums et des détergents. Ces nouvelles compositions de fluide hydraulique anhydre offrent non seulement des propriétés supérieures de résistance au feu et de haute pression, mais aussi une lubrification supérieure. Un grand nombre de ces nouveaux fluides hydrauliques anhydres peuvent être utilisés dans des applications exigeant le respect de l'environnement grâce à leur solubilité dans l'eau, leur biodégradabilité rapide et leur faible toxicité aquatique.
