Description

NOZZLE DEVICE FOR HAIRDRYER AND TREATMENT METHOD
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to tools for hair care and hairstyle and it refers to a nozzle device for hairdryer and to a treatment method for hair supported by a curler, a brush or the like with the air provided by the hairdryer.
BACKGROUND ART
The known nozzle for hairdryer are provide with an outlet mouth usually having a long and narrow slit shape or a diffuser shape to direct the hairdryer air blow toward an extended surface or a wide flat surface.
The main drawback of said known nozzles consists in that they oblige the professional user, intent on drying hair supported by a brush, to maintain lifted the elbow and the arm supporting the hairdryer, so assuming an unnatural and tiring posture.
Other drawback of the known nozzle consists in that they cause the dispersion of the hairdryer air blow provoking energetic wastes, extension of the hair treatment times and possible room overheating.
Further drawback consists in that the air blow of known devices can burn the person's scalp.
DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION
An object of the present invention is to propose a nozzle device allowing the professional user to assume a less tiring natural posture and capable to orient almost the whole hairdryer air against the hair in order to reduce the treatment times, the power consumption, the room heating and the risk of burnings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The characteristics of the invention are underlined in the following with particular reference to the attached drawings, in which: figure 1 shows an axonometric schematic view of the nozzle device of the invention in a proximity condition to a hairdryer outlet; figures 2 and 3 shows respectively front and side views of the nozzle device of figure 1; figure 4 shows the nozzle device of figure 3 in association with a brush and a tuft of hair; - figures 5 to 7 show axonometric views of respective variants of the device of figure 1.
BEST MODE OF CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
With reference to figures 1 to 4, numeral 1 indicates a nozzle device for hairdryer provided with a removable connection means 3 for the hairdryer outlet 2.
The device 1 comprises a plurality of openings 4 with circular, oval or polygonal shape and carried out in a first wall 5 having a concave shape, approximately curved as a cylindrical sector.
The edges of the first wall 5 are connected, in single body, to a second wall 7 of the device 1 which has a cylindrical sector shape as well and which in cooperation with the first wall 5, carries out an inner duct connecting in flow communication the openings 4 with the hairdryer outlet 2 through the connection means 3.
The rectilinear edges of first wall 5 are connected to the corresponding rectilinear edges of the second wall 7 of device 1 by means of respective fillet surfaces 6 with bevelled profile.
The connection means 3 and the walls first 5 and second 7 are approximately mutually aligned.
The radius and the axis of the cylindrical sector of second wall 7 are respectively bigger than and parallel to the radius and the axis of first wall 5 and the section of the inner duct is semi- lunar.
The bending radius of the cylindrical portion of first wall 5 is approximately equal to or bigger than the radius of a brush 10 or a curler; particularly, the bending radius of the cylindrical portion of first wall 5 is preferably of around 30 mm.
The transversal section of the cylindrical portion of first wall 5 defines an angle A ranging from 60° to 240°, and preferably of around 200° - 220°. In order to avoid excessive resistances of the air at the outlet, the whole surface of the openings 4 is at least equal to the surface of the hairdryer outlet section 2.
The connection means 3 has a shape approximately complementary to the shape of hairdryer outlet 2 and has a set of longitudinal slits 8 allowing an elastic removable connection.
The operation of the device 1 in a connection condition thereof to the activated hairdryer, provides that the brush 10 supports and moves the hair tuft to approach the openings 4 of the first wall 5.
The insertion of said the hair tuft into the concavity defined by the first wall 5 is facilitated by the fillet surfaces 6. In this way the operator can maintain also lowered his arm sustaining the hairdryer whose air invests almost completely the hair.
In this way it is provided an operation of the device according to the treatment method for hair of the invention, which provides to subject the hair to airflow also through the surface of a brush or a curler.
The airflow is directed from the outside toward the inside through the surface of the brush or of the curler, throughout the openings 4 of concave first wall 5.
The slits 8 allow an easy separation and connection of the device from and to the hairdryer.
The device also includes adapters means fit for linking the connection means 3 to outlets of hairdryers 2 having different shape.
In the variant of figure 5, the connection means 3 is approximately perpendicular to the walls first 5 and second 7 and it is connected to central portion of said wall 7.
The invention provides that the central and longitudinal axis of the connection means 3 lies on the symmetry plane of first wall 5 or, in alternative, that said axis is inclined with respect to said plane of symmetry.
The side edges of the first wall 5 have respective flat and parallel portions and the second wall 7 has convexities 9 to facilitate the flow of the air. The first wall 5 of the variant of figure 6 has a portion, close to an edge, flat shaped and the portion close to the opposite edge curved shaped with bending of opposite sign to the one of the central portion.
The operation of the variants of figures 5 and 6, substantially does not differ from that previously described.
In the variant of figure 7, the first wall 5 has a cylindrical tubular shape and is rounded to the connection means 3 through a conic fillet surface 15.
The first wall 5, the fillet surface 15 and the connection means 3 are coaxial and a baffle 11 closes the free end of the first wall 5 in order to prevent air dispersions.
The baffle 11 can be, in alternative, provided with openings for a partial exit of the air.
The first wall 5 has diameter smaller than the curler diameter in order to be inserted inside the latter.
The invention provides that the openings 4 are distributed on the whole surface of the first wall 5 or that a longitudinal portion of said wall, or a second wall 7, is closed and without openings to allow to approach said portion to the person avoiding the warm air, coming out from the device and from the curler, may burn or heat excessively the nape or the scalp of said person.
The operation of this variant of figure 7 according to the method of the invention, provides to direct the air flow from the inside toward the outside, throughout the curler surface by the insertion of the first wall 5 inside said curler.
The main advantage of the present invention is to provide a nozzle device allowing the professional user to assume a less tiring and natural posture and capable to orient almost the whole hairdryer air against the hair in order to reduce the treatment times, the power consumption, the room heating and the risk of burnings.
