Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil destiné à l'utilisation conjointe avec un dispositif médical (30) implanté comprenant deux éléments conducteurs (14) entrant en contact avec le tissu (12) d'un sujet. Cet appareil comprend un shunt (18) couplé électriquement avec les éléments conducteurs (14), ce shunt étant conçu de manière à présenter un premier état lorsque le sujet est exposé à une source d'énergie radiofréquence (RF), et un second état lorsque le sujet n'est pas exposé à une énergie RF. Ce shunt est en outre caractérisé en ce qu'il présente une première impédance dans le premier état, et une seconde impédance, au moins deux fois plus élevée que la première impédance, dans le second état.
