Abstract

The power plant disclosed here comprises a self-contained, portable energy system designed to convert fuel such as wood chips and/or garbage or any suitable fuel into electrical power. The power plant is constructed with a series of modules which include components of the power plant. By constructing the power plant in this modular fashion it may be housed and transported via a plurality of trailers, or other means to the location where power is needed, and then assembled and brought on-line to begin producing electricity in a relatively short period of time. The modules may be coupled together to form the power plant. Thus the modules do more than simply store the elements of the power plant for transportation purposes, they also comprise the elements of the power plant when it is assembled as an operative system. This facilitates relatively time-efficient assembly and disassembly of the power plant.
