Abstract

The invention relates to a rotary scrubber for particulate materials which has a support frame with which a cylindrical body is rotatably engaged. The body has an inlet at a first end thereof, an outlet at a second end thereof, an inner side wall, an outer side wall and an elongate, tubular screen member which is attached to and spaced from the inner side wall and which extends inside the body from the inlet to the outlet. The invention also provides a method of processing a particulate material using the rotary scrubber.
